The "Stratosphere" design study is based on the Yamaha XV 1900 Midnightstar. In some aspects, it takes up the design language of the original and realises the theme of the streamliners of the 1930s and 40s even more consistently. At that time, stylistic elements expressing aerodynamics, technical progress and pure elegance were the most outstanding features. In my eyes, this era is one of the most beautiful design languages.
